I’ve got a theme going now, and I think it will carry me throughout 2020. That theme is:
We’re not sitting on ideas—we’re executing.
So many of us have incredible ideas, but we have so many things keeping us from starting—fear, doubt, lack of confidence, lack of organization, etc.
We might have great reasons for not beginning or putting off our plans, but I want you to remember that what you create isn’t just for you. It might be your vision, but that vision coming to fruition can change the lives of people you haven’t even met.
I was talking to my sister to get some feedback, and trying to decide what should be my next project to begin. I already made my mind up that I was going to do more than talk. I was going to move.
The end result was my second published book! It’s called Foods Your Body Loves, and it’s something I am super proud of and excited to share.
The book is a compellation of recipes, health tips, and lists of different pantry items I buy time over time because they really work.
I’m all about making this health journey simpler. Why should you have to struggle, when I’ve already done so much of the work? That’s why I want to share it.
So now you can finally get the full recipe for how I made yummy and nutritious smoothies or crispy cauliflower tacos, or how you can veganize tuna salad. Trust me, it’s so good!
I hope you’ll grab a copy of my new eBook and also remind yourself that…we’re executing!
We’re getting very close to ushering in a new year, which is exciting. Many of us will set goals, but many of us will have forgotten about these goals even before next year is even halfway completed.
Why does this happen?
I believe one of the main problems with goals and new year’s resolutions, is the overwhelm from not having an action plan. People set goals such as “get more healthy” or “lose 15 pounds” or “get my career on track”, but with no action plan or steps, how can we get there—and how can we know if we even have arrived?
Instead of the simple goals themselves, it’s good for us to break things down into steps, habits and behaviors. Do you want to change your spending habits, eating habits, how you spend your time? Ultimately it is our habits that give us results one way or another.
To help you visualize and focus on behavior for success, I’ve created affirmations for a prosperous new year. I zero in on some of the behaviors that really lead to us living our best life—being accountable, being creative, being open to constructive criticism, and more.
As we get closer and closer to manifesting our dreams and hopes, the pain and weight feels nearly unbearable. What can we do to optimize our time and see the benefits of waiting– benefits that outweigh the pain? I discuss in this episode.
I know what it is like to have huge goals set before me, and while I really want to accomplish them, I often get overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin. It is common around this time of year to either lose momentum or get sidetracked.
You set those goals for a reason, and I know you can get there with the right mindset, preparation, and planning.
I created this video to encourage you and help you get back to where you need to be.
I had a little help from my adorable niece who can be seen (and heard) in the video. She’s getting so big!
Feel free to comment and share some of your 2016 goals!
It’s not uncommon for people to fall off from their newly set goals by about the 2nd or 3rd week of the new year. After a month, many will have given up. I made this video to encourage you and refocus you if needed. Please share with others who are setting out to reach new heights with their fitness goals this year!
Hey everyone! January zoomed by before I could even get used to writing “2013” and now it’s February! The month of January seems to naturally lend itself to eating healthy because people have many regrets after eating over the holidays. I am very excited to start a new series for this month: FitFeb! It will be focused mostly on fitness. For this month, I will focus on workouts, workout gear, products, and more. Look forward to lots of guest writers, weight loss stories, and ideas for ways to stay fit!
