This year Christmas dinner was the usual delicious spread of indulgent American cuisine. I volunteered to contribute a couple of sides with the added benefit of knowing for sure there would be meat free dishes I would enjoy. I made a green bean salad and pan seared brussels with caramelized onions. Both were easy to make and a big hit!
